Purpose
The purpose of the Distributor internship is to allow prospective employees to work for the company and learn about the business. The ultimate goal is to retain interns for future employment after graduation. During the program, interns will be treated as new sales employees. Training and development will be provided throughout the summer. Interns are required to turn in a paper about their summer experience, deliver a PowerPoint group presentation to the distributor management staff presenting their learnings and recommendations for improvement.
The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for sales training, tracking and coordination of training schedules. A MillerCoors mentor in the market also pays a major role in the training and development (application of the training in the market).
Requirements:
- Must live in the CR / Iowa City area for the summer
- Have reliable transportation
- No DUIs on driving record

Selected interns will have the opportunity to assist in the sales, delivery, merchandising and promotion of beer products for Fleck Sales Company! Accounts include: bars, grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, liquor stores, nightclubs, etc. This sales/marketing internship will include working with departments such as Sales, Delivery, Warehouse, Promotions and more.....
Sales training will be provided. At the end of the summer, interns will have the optional opportunity to write a paper and formally present information about their summer experience if it assists in gaining course credit.
